I'm having problems browsing. I've tried both IE and Firefox. I mainly use firefox. I seem to have a good WiFi connection. I've downloaded the drivers from MSI's website. I get 4 to 5 bars on the bottom of my screen. It says I'm connected at 54 Mbps. When I finally get a speed test screen up (like on http://www.dslreports.com), I get good down and up speeds. But loading pages and following links is very very slow at times. It's very frustrating.

Help!!!!

I love the wind and don't want to send it back.

If you are getting good download speeds but sites are slow to load it could be that your ISP's DNS is slow.

Take a look at http://www.opendns.org/

Also try a wired connection to see if it is the same. If it's only WiFi that's slow have a look at http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks Make sure you apply any recommended tweak to the appropriate adaptor.

The problem was the Wind and not my Wireless networks. I had to flash the .107 BIOS and then reinstall the latest WLAN driver from MSI's site. Now my wifi works great. It doesn't hang.

Now if I could just type without the cursor jumping all over the place, I'd be happy with the wind.

In addition, in Firefox you may want to turn off the attack site/forgery site stuff under security. That'll slow down ones browsing.
