Hey all.

Just wanted to let everyone know that you don't need to purchase an external dvd burner if you have access to a real mac or a hackintosh to install OSX onto your wind/akoya/advent - a nice easy way is to get yourself a 4 gig flash key,

http://dancameron.org/general/creating-os-x-leopard-install-usb-drive

http://rapidshare.com/files/133325294/Chameleon_Efi_V1.0.6.dmg.html

What you do is follow Dans instructions, mounting the iso of your choice, click restore, use the flash key as the destination and when its done use chameleon (bit different than osx86tools) - select the flash key and you're finished. I'll do this all up in nice visual, but for now I'm off to work.

Hey this could be al-some. I don't want to carry around a CD drive all the time but I would like to be able to restore if needed.

Would it be possible to create two partitions and put the drivers/updates on one of them? I guess it might have to be a 8gb, but it would be worth it to me to have everything I need on one usb drive.

Hi,

I folllowed this guide with MSIWINDosx86.iso on a Medion akoya. When booting the USB, it quickly ends with:

Extensions "com.apple.driver .AppleACPIPlatform" has immediate dependencies on both com.apple.kernel and com.apple.kpi components ; use only one style

I tried -v, -x and -s options, no differences. Any suggestions?
